emotional roller coaster

i'm a grumpy bastard, it's probably now official.
trevor & I had agreed that as he had a Doctors meeting last night we'd not see each other. This suited me fine as I was quite looking forward to having an evening apart.
then at nine'ish the door goes and their he is all chipper - if he was a labrador his tail would of wagged off!
the thing is we'd agreed not to see each other. so he comes in, plonks himself on the couch and i snarl at him!
the buggering thing about it though is that i then feel guilty and upset for the rest of the evening - reaching several times for the mobile to text over an apology - must be the way i was raised (permanent cloud of guilt)

A couple of early shot's of things a 'growing..! finally.
After a very, very strange winter; lovely 'cos T came into my life but mentally i've been to dark places and back. Nothing overly extreme but it's like I've been given access to memory's of things forgotten and I'm fighting of having to regret parts of my life.
Anyhow spring has definately sprung. I get to play on the balcony again..! of course this'll be mine and T's first spring together and already he's showing excellent potential for balcony living - lounging about, poking at pot's with 'things' a growing - drinking wine..! Ahhh urban gardening..!

oh how we laughed...!

now we realise that there can be no way that we're the first gays to take a 'funny' photo at the gay memorial..! but for all our frivolity it was really quite moving.

so were already feeling a little hysterical when we head off to visit the Anne Frank museum queing in the rain began to dampen our enthusiasm but was also rather in keeping with what was to be a sobering experience.

TY: Shall we get a guide book..?
DR: Shall we buffalo, let's get this done so I can have a coffee

obviously as we'd digested every guide book available and they all suggested getting to the museum before the crack of dawn my usual litre and a half of coffee had not been consumed so my nerves were a little on the raw side.
